Yesterday, we drove to the Annapolis Valley and dropped in at
Gaspereau Valley Fibres - a rustic yarn shop set up in a large barn, flooded with light, warmed with a wood stove, and full of luscious yarns, roving, buttons, patterns, and sample garments. They provide supplies from the initial carding and spinning of yarn to the last stages of finishing a knitted garment. An added bonus is a the chance to visit the chickens, sheep, and llamas in the barnyard.
